At the IAA 2013 in Frankfurt, the second generation of the 2014 Kia Soul will celebrate their European premiere. We have first information.
Has celebrated its world premiere at the New York Auto Show in April 2013, the new Kia Soul, in the fall it is now presented for the first time in Europe.
Visually, the second generation is very similar to the first, the soul retains its edgy crossover design with, but looks much more modern and more spacious.
For the new Kia Soul also offers a design package, which further emphasizes the SUV character. By piano-black finish on the bumpers, side skirts and wheel arches of the soul acts more independent and robust.
That the second generation is even more spacious, is also on the new platform, which is based on the current cee'd. Thus, the new Soul is not only spacious, also the handling and ride comfort can thus clearly win. A stiffer chassis and better noise insulation should also provide more comfort.
The larger sized body also has a longer wheelbase, which should come primarily benefit the passengers in the rear. Also, the boot capacity is 354 liters with more spacious and can now also be enlarged variable.
In the engine, the customer between the 1.6 liter and the 1.6-liter GDI turbo diesel can choose standard features of the soul through a manual six-speed gearbox, on request, a 6-speed automatic is available.
