Limited edition pays tribute to the common Formula 1 success.
As previously reported, Renault pays tribute with a special limited edition, the successful F1 partnership with Red Bull Racing. 2010 and 2011 was Sebastian Vettel with a Renault engine to win both the Drivers' and the Formula 1 world championship. So now come from the RS version of the Twingo, Clio and Megane special editions on the market. But now the French have the details of the " 2013 Renault Megane RS Red Bull Racing RB7 " revealed. Design and performance
Main distinguishing feature is the appearance of the lens of the Formula 1 racing car ajar, curved air deflector under the bumper in Sirius yellow. Exterior mirror housings and rear diffuser are kept in the same color. Other features include a checkered flag motif on the roof, the Megane RS Red Bull Racing sticker door and the numbered plaque in the cockpit, indicating the limitation.
The dCi turbo petrol engine with 2.0 liter displacement, 265 hp and 360 Nm ensures the proper performance: Top speed is 245 km / h and the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h is ticked off after 6.0 seconds. For a proper driving behavior makes the Cup chassis. Its main feature is the mechanical differential lock on the front axle that ensures optimal traction and promotes the early accelerating out of corners.
